Police Release Photo of Syosset Bank Robbers

The two men held up the bank on Dec. 2.

Authorities are searching for two men who robbed a Syosset bank at gunpoint on Wednesday, Dec. 2.

According to police, the men entered Wells Fargo Bank, located at 137 Jackson Ave., and one of the robbers racked his handgun, grabbed a female employee and placed a gun to her head at 2:20 p.m.

The second man approached the teller and demanded that the employees fill a multicolored bag with cash, police said.

The robbers fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Eight employees and one customer were inside the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.

Police described the robbers as 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, 30 years old, and wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts, black face masks, blue jeans and sneakers.
