Kay Carsky to be remembered at Benefit Fundraiser for Lawrence Home Care of Westchester

Renown community leader, Kay Carsky, will be remembered at a special benefit fundraiser sponsored by Lawrence Home Care of Westchester on Sunday evening, June 12th.  A long-time and cherished member of the Fund Board of Lawrence Home Care of Westchester, Kay died earlier this year after a brief battle with cancer.

Kay was deeply involved not only in her immediate local communities, but also the greater Westchester community at large.  In addition to being a member of the Fund Board of Lawrence Home Care of Westchester, she served on the boards of many notable Westchester organizations, including Arts Westchester, the Westchester Community College Foundation, the Bronx River Parkway Reservation Conservancy, and the Westchester Medical Center.

Kay also held a wide-range of appointed and elected positions throughout Westchester County, among them the Yonkers City Council, the Westchester County Board of Legislators, and most recently, the transition team of Westchester County Executive, Rob Astorino.

Based in Tuckahoe, NY, Lawrence Home Care of Westchester is affiliated with Lawrence Hospital Center and the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System. As a certified home health care agency, it has been at the forefront of the Westchester community in providing exceptional home health services to Westchester County residents for over 75 years.

The June 12th Sunday evening cocktail benefit will be especially poignant as friends, family and many of the home care staff who took care of Kay will join together to pay tribute to this remarkable woman.
