"Early voting turnout at Greenburgh Town Hall during the past few days was very poor," Feiner said. "In Ukraine residents are fighting and losing their lives so they can continue to have a democracy. Let's not take our freedoms for granted because one day we may not have them."
In addition to primaries for governor and lieutenant governor, there is a Democratic primary in Assembly District 92, where incumbent Tom Abinanti is being challenged by County Legislator MaryJane Shimsky. District 92 includes the villages of Pleasantville, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, Ardsley and part of the unincorporated section of Greenburgh.
