TARRYTOWN, NY — Some Tarrytown residents who received coronavirus vaccines at a Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow pop-up clinic earlier in the spring are having problems registering for the state's Excelsior Pass program.

Some residents found that they were unable to confirm their information as to when they were administered the shots when they tried accessing the Excelsior Pass website.

Village officials said, while Tarrytown was the administrator of the event, Rite Aid provided the vaccine and handled all the medical paperwork relating to the vaccination.

"Therefore, Rite Aid is where your vaccine data lives," the village said in a news release.

After a discussion with Rite Aid, it was determined that residents who got vaccinated at the pop-up should call the Hartsdale Rite Aid Pharmacy Department, 914-725-8890, and let them know you received the vaccine at the Tarrytown/Sleepy hollow Pop-up through Rite Aid.

The pharmacy should then be able to provide you with the information necessary to obtain your Excelsior Pass.

The New York State Excelsior Pass allows coronavirus vaccine recipients the ability to have digital proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results. The state recently added the Excelsior Pass Plus as a way to store a digital copy of your coronavirus vaccination record on your smartphone.
