The Dowling College School of Aviation featured in a series of CNBC reports on Careers in Aviation

The Dowling College School of Aviation was featured in a series of reports which aired on CNBC. According to the NBC business channel, the Federal Aviation Administration will hire 10,000 new air traffic controllers over the next decade to staff its 315 towers across the country. Over 1700 controllers will be hired in 2015.

The Dowling College School of Aviation is located at Brookhaven Airport, it is one of only 36 approved colleges & universities in the U.S. that participates in the Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative Program, which provides students an opportunity to become Air Traffic Controllers.
