2 Injured In Pizza Oven Explosion On The UES, FDNY Says
Two people were taken to the hospital following the explosion, FDNY officials said.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Two people were injured in a pizza oven explosion on the Upper East Side on Monday morning, FDNY officials said.
According to the FDNY, the explosion was at Saba’s Pizza at 1217 Lexington Ave. between 82nd and 83rd streets at around 9:30 a.m.
Two people were taken to the hospital following the explosion, FDNY officials said.
