Baked By Melissa To Open New Upper East Side Store

The popular bakery specializing in miniature cupcakes will set up shop on East 86th Street next week.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Baked By Melissa, the popular bakery that specializes in bite-sized cupcakes and other treats, is set to open its second Upper East Side store next week.

The bakery is celebrating the opening of its East 86th Street store — located between Second and Third avenues — on Monday, Nov. 20, a company spokeswoman said. The store will be Baked by Melissa's 14th location, but will feature a completely different looks from previous brick-and-mortar locations.

The new store will be decorated to reflect founder Melissa Ben-Ishay's journey in starting the business and feature images from Ben-Ishay's own personal scrapbook, a company spokeswoman said. Ben-Ishay will visit the new store on Tuesday between 5-7 p.m.
