Carter Burden Center For the Aging Announces New Office Location For Its Case Mangement Unit

The Carter Burden Center’s Case Management Unit has moved to a new office to better service the community. The new office is located at 445 East 85th Street between York and 1st Ave. For more information, please call (646) 504-4999.

The Case Management Unit provides comprehensive services to homebound individuals so that they can remain in their homes. Services include help with benefit applications, end of life planning, crisis intervention, referral to other services such as visiting nurse, home delivered meals and volunteer legal services, as well as supportive counseling.

The Carter Burden Center for the Aging, Inc. is a non-profit agency established in 1971 by the late Carter Burden when he was a New York City Councilman. The mission is to promote the well-being of seniors, 60 and older, through a continuum of services, advocacy and volunteer programs oriented to individual, family and community needs.
