ENT and Allergy Associates Recruits Dr. Chandra Ivey to NYC
Sub-specialist further expands the practice's clinical roster of voice and swallowing specialists on Upper East Side

New York, N.Y. (October 12, 2018) – ENT and Allergy Associates LLP (ENTA), the nation’s preeminent otolaryngology specialty and sub-specialty practice is proud to announce another addition to its roster of physicians in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Fellowship-trained laryngologist Chandra Ivey, M.D., will serve patients at the 210 East 86th Street location beginning November 1, 2018. The addition of Dr. Ivey follows a series of successful ENTA recruitment efforts, as the practice celebrates continued growth and geographic expansion across its tri-state footprint. ENTA is the largest practice of its kind in the nation and is celebrating its 20-year milestone this year.
Dr. Ivey will join renowned otolaryngology specialists and sub-specialists Robert P. Green, M.D.; Won-Taek Choe, M.D., F.A.C.S.; Guy Lin, M.D.; Scott B. Markowitz, M.D.; Steven H. Sacks, M.D., F.A.C.S.; Robert Ward, M.D.; and allergist Lynelle C. Granady, M.D.

An established laryngologist in private practice since 2007, Dr. Ivey specializes in the dysphonic patient and performs in-office evaluation, biopsy and treatment when possible. She has expertise in laryngeal electromyography, laryngeal BOTOX, in-office injection laryngoplasty, as well as in-office laser treatment for benign lesions, FEESST (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing with Sensory Testing), trans-nasal esophagoscopy, and a variety of laryngeal reconstructive procedures. She is board certified in otolaryngology, is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Ivey graduated from Harvard and Radcliffe College and attended medical school at Weill-Cornell Medical College. She was an otolaryngology resident at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio and completed laryngology fellowship with Dr. Peak Woo at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Ivey was director of the Division of Laryngology-Voice and Swallowing in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Columbia University. Currently, she serves as an assistant clinical professor of otolaryngology and is clinical faculty within the Department of Otolaryngology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Since completing her training, Dr. Ivey has held clinical appointments at Mount Sinai, Columbia University, Beth Israel, and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
