NYPD Officer Arrested On Easter On The Upper East Side, Police Say
The police arrested an off-duty officer on the Upper East Side.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An off-duty police officer was arrested on Easter Sunday on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, Officer Jason Brown was arrested at 5:22 a.m. on April 5 on the Upper East Side and charged with driving while ability-impaired and refusing to take a breath test.
The NYPD did not provide additional details on what led to the arrest, but confirmed that the arrest was in the 19th Precinct, which encompasses the Upper East Side.
