Teen Shot On The Upper East Side, Police Say
The teen was shot in front of a public housing complex in Yorkville.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A teenager was shot in front of Yorkville's Holmes towers on Monday night, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the 19-year-old boy was walking in front of 405 East 92nd St., between First Avenue and FDR Drive, on Monday at 7:41 p.m. when a shooter approached and shot him in the right leg.
The teen was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan in East Harlem, police said.

According to the NYPD, the victim has been "uncooperative," and it's not yet clear what led up to the shooting.
Police said they haven't made any arrests yet, and the investigation is underway.
