Cops: Man Stole Candy, Glass Pipe from Wantagh Shop
Hicksville man broke into Burn Smoke Shop on Railroad Avenue early Monday morning, police said.

A Hicksville man faces burglary charges after he was seen breaking into a Wantagh smoke shop early Monday, according to Nassau County Police.
Detectives said a dispatcher was working in Island Yellow Taxi at 1:15 a.m. when he saw a man break into a shop across the street. Craig Blum, 43, kicked and broke the front door of Burn Smoke Shop on Railroad Avenue and went inside, cops said. Blum left shortly after with boxes of candy and a glass water pipe, police said.
Seventh Precinct officers responded and found Blum soon after he had fled down Grove Street, cops said. He was taken into custody without incident and the proceeds from the burglary were recovered, police said.
