Fire Causes Suffers 'Significant Damage' To LI Home: Police

It happened just after 6 p.m. Wednesday on Parkview Avenue.

SEAFORD, NY — A house fire on Wednesday night in Seaford spread to the garage and the second floor, police said.

Upon arrival, police learned that all of the occupants were safely out of the Parkview Avenue home.

Neighboring homes were evacuated as a precaution just after 6 p.m.

The home suffered significant damage and two vehicles were burned, authorities said. No one was hurt in the blaze.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad are investigating.
