Library Holds Donation Drive For Local Animal Shelters

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — From now until mid-October, the Rockville Centre Public Library is giving back to animals in need.

The library's youth services department is collecting donations for local animal shelters, Bobbi and the Strays in Freeport and Long Island Rabbit Rescue of Great Neck.

Patrons can drop off food, such as canned cat food (Friskies is preferred, but fish is not requested), cat and dog toys and clumping cat litter.

Other items sought include towels, cleaning supplies and office supplies.

The Great Give Back drive goes until October 15.
