Meet Navajo, 1-Year-Old Cat Seeking Forever Home
The cat is up for adoption at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter.

WANTAGH, NY — If you are looking to give a cat a forever home, the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter has several available for adoption, including Navajo.
The cat is one-year, one-month-old. She was brought to the shelter in May.
Navajo is a spayed, domestic shorthair/mix.

She is a survivor of a hoarder home where more than 90 cats were living.
The owner was hospitalized and multiple rescues came in to deal with the cat situation, the animal shelter wrote on its website.

Most of the cats from that house are undersocialized and will require an understanding and patient home.
