
A man suffered non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in the chest during an altercation in Freeport Friday night, police said.
According to police, the 25-year-old man was in a garage with two other men in the vicinity of South Bergen Place when the victim got into an argument with another man in his 20s, police said.
The suspect stabbed the victim in the chest before fleeing the scene, police said.

The victim went to the 7-Eleven located at 145 Sunrise Highway for help and then to a Wallace Street apartment, where police located him, police said.
The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
