• NYS Native American ban: Wantagh challenge can move forward, appeals court rules (newsday.com) — Wantagh residents should know a federal appeals court has revived part of school board member Anthony Greco's free-speech challenge, allowing him to keep arguing for wearing Warriors gear at school events. The ruling lets the Wantagh school district continue its broader fight to retain the Warriors name despite New York's ban on Native American imagery, even as state officials press the district to fully comply by its 2027 deadline.

• Fallen State Trooper Honored With Bridge Dedication In Wantagh (newsbreak.com) — A Wantagh ceremony has officially dedicated the Wantagh State Parkway bridge over the Southern State Parkway in memory of State Trooper James M.
