Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. SEAFORD, NY — As the new school season is about to begin, the Seaford School District held a two-day orientation for its new teachers. About two dozen teachers, who are joining the district, featured a meet and greet with administrators and a bus tour on Aug. 24 and 25. New faculty members include elementary and secondary teachers, nurses and psychologists. Orientation will continue during the year with monthly workshops on topics that include instructional technology, special education and teaching strategies.
