Wantagh students at Mandalay Elementary School ran off some pent-up energy prior to the Thanksgiving holiday with participation in the annual Turkey Trot, sponsored by the PTA.
Students participated in physical education activities including gobble, gobble, cook me (duck, duck, goose), the pumpkin relay (over/under relay race), hot turkey (hot potato) and pass the corn. The favorite activity was the actual Turkey Trot around the gymnasium.
