Police Seek Man Who Stole Islanders Glove at End of Game
Incident happened last month after the Islanders defeated the Washington Capitals at Nassau Coliseum, cops said.

Police are searching for a man they say stole a hockey glove from a New York Islander after a game last month.
The theft happened on April 25 at Nassau Coliseum where the Islanders played the Washington Capitals, Nassau Police said. Toward the end of the game, the man swiped a glove that was lying on the Isles’ team bench, cops said.

Police released a photo Monday of the man they believe is responsible for the theft.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the theft to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
