Here's a round-up of meetings, events and other happenings in the neighborhoods from Jan. 25 through Jan. 31.

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — Patch has compiled a list of events residents in Inwood and Washington Heights might want to know about in the coming week.

From community board meetings to local art exhibitions, to shortfilms, here are the dates to know for the week of Jan. 25.

Dyckman Farmhouse: "Unspoken Voices: Honoring The Legacy Of Black America": The Dyckman Farmhouse at 4881 Broadway has a current exhibition with three local Upper Manhattan artists who were each inspired by the research that Dyckman Farmhouse has been doing about people previously enslaved at the property.

Morris-Jumel Mansion: COVIDA — Homage To Victims Of The Pandemic: The Morris-Jumel Mansion at 65 Jumel Terrace, near West 163rd Street, has an outdoor public art installation that pays tribute to the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The exhibit was created by Andrea Arroyo, who lives a couple of blocks away from the installation in Washington Heights.

Around Upper Manhattan

COVID Self-Testing Pop-Up Site at Word Up Bookstore, Tuesday, Jan. 26 from noon to 4.p.m: The Washington Heights book store will supply onsite test kits, and then send them to a local lab. Word Up is located at 2113 Amsterdam Avenue at 165th Street.

Inwood Art Works Short Film Fridays, Jan. 29 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Inwood Art Works is showing the film "Quiet Sundays," directed by Katie Kemmerer. American football fans might be particularly interested in this flick, and you can find out more about how to watch it on Inwood Art Works website.

Fort Tryon Park Dog Run Stewardship Day, Saturday, Jan. 30 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: The Upper Manhattan event will take place at the Sir William's Dog Run within the Fort Tryon Park. The space is actually Manhattan's largest dog run and the Fort Tryon Par Trust is leading an event to clean up the surrounding space. You can RSVP by emailing info@fortytryonparktrust.org.
