East Harlem Man Shot In Head, Killed In Inwood
Police say Jorge Rodriguez, 19, was found with a gunshot wound to the head near Academy Street and Post Avenue around 3:15 a.m. Saturday.
INWOOD, NY — Police have identified a 19-year-old East Haarlem man who was found shot in the head outside a building in Inwood early Saturday. Police officers were called to Academy Street and Post Avenue for a report of gunshots around 3:15 a.m. Saturday. They found 19-year-old Jorge Rodriguez suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
A private vehicle rushed him to New York-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital where he was declared dead. No arrests have been made. An investigation remains ongoing.
