Group Wanted For 9 Robberies In 10 Days In Wash Heights: Police

Police are looking for three men connected to nine strong-arm robberies that recently took place in Upper Manhattan.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The New York Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify three men wanted in connection to a string of robberies in Washington Heights during the last 10 days of August.

In each of the incidents, the three men approached their victims, forcibly detained them, demanded some type of possession, and then fled in an unknown direction, according to police.

None of the victims got seriously injured as a result of the robberies.

Here is a breakdown of where the nine Washington Heights robberies took place:

  • Incident No. 1: Aug. 22, in front of 615 West 184th Street
  • Incident No. 2: Aug. 22, in front of 301 Audubon Avenue
  • Incident No. 3: Aug. 27, in front of 723 West 177th Street
  • Incident No. 4: Aug. 28, in front of 407 Audubon Avenue
  • Incident No. 5: Aug. 29, in the vicinity of Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 186th Street
  • Incident No. 6: Aug. 30, in front of 407 Audubon Avenue
  • Incident No. 7: Aug. 30, in front of 601 West 179th Street
  • Incident No. 8: Aug. 30, in the vicinity of Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 181st Street
  • Incident No. 9: Aug. 31, inside of 130 Wadsworth Avenue

Police also released a video of one of the robberies.
