Hit-And-Run Driver Critically Injures Man In Washington Heights

A man was walking in the intersection of Riverside Drive and West 155th Street when he was struck by a gray BMW, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A man was critically injured Monday night after being struck by a car in a Washington Heights intersection, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.

The man was walking in the intersection of Riverside Drive and West 155th Street around 9 p.m. when he was struck by a gray BMW, police told patch. The driver of the BMW fled the scene after the collision, police said.

The victim was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in critical condition, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
