Inwood Vandals Tag Cars on Park West Terrace Monday Night

INWOOD, NY — Graffiti-weilding vandals tagged nearly a dozen cars Monday night on Park West Terrace in Inwood, DNAinfo reported.

The vandals struck on Park West Terrace between 215 and 217 streets. The vandals tagged car doors, hoods and trunks with black and red spray paint, DNAinfo reported.

Police from the 34th precinct addressed the vandalism spree on its Facebook page:

"Good morning everyone, The 34th Precinct has been made aware of vehicle vandalism in our Inwood Community. This is troubling and concerning to us. Our detective squad will be investigating the case in order to catch the suspect(s) involved. In addition, if you have any information that can assist us in this matter, please call us at 212-927-0756 or 212-927-0287. If you see suspicious activity in the area, please call 911 with as many details as possible. We continually strive to ensure that matters like these do not go ignored and that it receives the necessary attention. Thank you and have a great day.

A message left with the police was not immediately returned.
