Justin Bieber has 'Pokémon Go' Fever: Onlookers Film Singer Catching Pokémon in Inwood, Central Park

INWOOD, NY — A wild Justin Bieber appeared in Inwood this weekend.

The pop star is in New York to perform two shows at Madison Square Garden, but he gave Inwood residents a show of their own Sunday night when he showed up to play "Pokémon Go" on Dyckman Street.

One bystander captured the moment in a Snapchat video, which was then shared on Twitter.

"Gotta catch 'em all," Bieber says in the video while flanked by his security.

But Bieber didn't satisfy his Pokémon cravings in Inwood. Later Sunday night the singer tripped downtown to Central Park, where he joined a mob of people looking for rare Pokémon. One Reddit user caught a glimpse of the star joining hundreds of other Pokémon players on the hunt for a Gyrados.

In the madness Bieber went incognito.

"Everyone is so engrossed in catching the big guy, no one notices when a black car pulls up and Justin Bieber [and six] body guards roll out so JB can join in the hunt," the Reddit user posted.

A video of Bieber slithering through a crowd of hundreds near the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue surfaced on Twitter.

Maybe Gyrados should headline Madison Square Garden.
