Knife-Wielding Thieves Snag Canada Goose Coat In Uptown Mugging
A group of masked thieves robbed someone of a Canada Goose coat, which costs up to $1,000, in Washington Heights on Wednesday, cops said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A group of masked thieves used a knife Wednesday night to snag an expensive coat from someone in Washington Heights, cops said.
The robbery happened around 10 p.m. near 21 Bennet Ave., which sits near West 181st Street, cops said.
Four men wearing masks and black hoodies came up to the victim with a knife and took their property, police said. Among the personal belongings was a Canada Goose coat, which go for hundreds or up to $1,000.

An alert about the incident on Citizen App said that the group of thieves had used machetes, but police could not confirm what type of knife was used in the attack. Police also did not have details about who the victim was.
There were no arrests from the robbery as of Thursday morning.
