Man Robs Washington Heights Bank In Broad Daylight, Cops Say
The man handed a note demanding money to the teller at Apple Bank on West 181st Street and got away with nearly $2,000, cops said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Cops are searching for a man who robbed a bank on West 181st Street in broad daylight on Monday.
The man walked into the Apple Bank at 706 West 181st St. around 2:40 p.m. and handed a note demanding money to the teller, police said. The teller handed over $1,651 and the man was able to get away from the bank with the money, police said.
Cops said nobody was hurt from the incident.

They released photos of the man taken by cameras inside the bank.
