Man Shot, Killed In Washington Heights Apartment Building: Police
One man was fatally shot and another was injured inside a Washington Heights apartment building Sunday.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — One man was killed and another was injured inside a Washington Heights apartment building Sunday night, police told Patch.
Officers arrived at 111 Wadsworth Avenue, located between West 178th and 179th streets, shortly before 10:45 Sunday night to discover 43-year-old Jose Nunez suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, police told Patch. Another person, an unidentified 31-year-old man, was found suffering a laceration to the head, police said.
Both men were taken to Columbia University Medical Center, where Nunez was pronounced dead, police told Patch. The unidentified man was in stable condition, police said.

Nunez lived in a 23rd floor apartment in 111 Wadsworth Avenue, police said.
The NYPD investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing and no suspects have been named, police said.
