Neighbor Nabbed In Deadly Dog, Wash Heights Duo Shooting: NYPD
After a month on the run, a neighbor accused of fatally shooting two people and a dog near Highbridge Park is in police custody.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - A neighbor accused of killing two individuals and a dog in Washington Heights last month was nabbed Thursday after nearly a month on the run, authorities said.
Lenue Moore, 31, was arrested late Thursday night in the area of Washington Heights in connection with the shooting deaths of Jackie Billini, 57, and Levaughn Harvin, 42, near Highbridge Park on Sept. 29, police said. Billini's dog Zeus was also killed in the gunfire.
Moore was charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon, aggravated cruelty to animals and related offenses.

Billini, who worked as a court analyst for the state, lived just two blocks from the scene of the shooting, police said.
Harvin also lived in the neighborhood and was Billini's nephew, according to several media outlets.

The pair were shot in the head while walking Billini's dog near Highbridge Park at West 165 Street and Edgecombe Avenue about 6:30 p.m., police said.
Medics transported Billini and Harvin to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem where they were later pronounced dead.
Citing police sources, the New York Post reported last month the pair were “clearly targeted” as part of an ongoing neighbor feud with Moore.
Billini was previously targeted by Moore in a hammer attack inside her apartment in April, the outlet added. He was charged with assault and attempted burglary thereafter.
Moore lived across the hall from Billini, NBC New York reported, with court documents showing she had an order of protection against him following the April attack.
“I feel like it was an execution,” a neighbor told NBC New York. “She was hunted.”
