Over 100 Firefighters Called To Inwood Blaze: FDNY
A fire broke out Monday afternoon in Inwood that took over 100 firefighters to get under control, according to the FDNY.
INWOOD, NY — A fire broke out in an Inwood building on Monday afternoon, according to the New York City Fire Department.
The blaze ignited around 3:15 p.m. on the third and fourth floor of a five-story residential building at 184 Nagle Avenue, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.
A total of 106 firefighters responded to the Upper Manhattan flames, which was deemed under control just before 4 p.m., according to the FDNY.

The spokesperson told Patch that two residents are being evaluated at the scene.
The Inwood fire on Monday comes almost a month after a massive fire broke out on the top floor of a building at 74 Post Avenue that left 51 people without a home.

The two residential buildings are a four-minute walk from one another, according to Google Maps.
