WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police rescued a cat that was trapped in the wheel of a truck and being dragged down the street Tuesday in Washington Heights.
The cat was spotted in the wheel by pedestrians who flagged the car's driver down at the intersection of West 162nd Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, police said. Emergency Service Unit officers responded to the intersection and helped pry the curious cat's hind legs free, police told Patch.
