Martinez reportedly called the NYPD Crime Stoppers tip hotline on himself Saturday, and dared officers to come get him, saying he'd end his own life and take some of the cops down with him, according to the New York Post.

Martinez was Nystrom's boyfriend, according to multiple reports and Facebook posts mourning the loss of the 44-year-old woman.
