INWOOD, NY — Cops are searching for two suspects in connection with a shooting that landed a woman and a man in the hospital last week.

The two men, caught on surveillance cameras, were involved in a shooting that broke out at 109 Post Ave. just before 11 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Cops had been called to the building after a dispute between two groups of people in the back of the building and escalated to gunfire, cops said.

When emergency responders got there, they found a 27-year-old man who was shot in the butt and a 37-year-old woman who had been shot in her foot, police said. The man and woman were rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital and were in stable condition.

The rest of the groups involved in the shooting had fled before police got there, cops said.

Police are looking to question the two suspects about the shooting. They did not specify whether one or both of them were the shooter.
