Washington Heights Woman Charged In Deadly Stabbing Attack: NYPD
The incident took place Tuesday inside a building on 444 West 163rd Street, according to police.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A Washington Heights woman has been charged with murder for stabbing a woman to death in her Upper Manhattan apartment, police said on Wednesday.
The attacker was identified as 20-year-old Kaylha Armand, who is also charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police responded to a 911 call on Tuesday of a woman stabbed inside a building at 444 West 163rd Street in Washington Heights, the NYPD said. Once inside the apartment, officers found a 20-year-old woman, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to her body, according to police.

Emergency services rushed the victim to the Harlem Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Armand got taken into custody at the scene.
