# 83: Camping at Sears Bellows

Enjoy a night under the stars.

There is something so simple and relaxing about camping. Whether it be with family or friends, a few nights outdoors in the fresh air is sure to give you a renewed sense of yourself.

There is no major planning necessary for a relaxing camping get-away: grab a tent, a few hot dogs and buns, and of course, marshmallows for a evening or more under the stars.

One great spot to pitch a tent is the 693-acre in Hampton Bays, former home of the Big Duck.

The park features a 30-site campground in Long Island’s Pine Barrens, hiking trails, lifeguard-protected swimming, freshwater fishing, rowboat rentals, hunting, bridle paths and showers.

In addition to tent sites, the campground has 40 trailer sites.
