Astrological Tidbit— The Nodes of the Moon are the point where the orbit of the Moon cross over the ecliptic. A solar eclipse happens when the Moon at its New or Full position is close to the Node. The North and South Node always oppose each other. The North Node was know as the dragons head the South node the dragons tail, as Astrologers use to tell the king if he did not do certain things a dragon would swallow the Sun or Moon.
