Center for Creative Retirement-Today's Program

The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.

Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.

From 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., join a discussion of ten recent Supreme Court cases. How would you decide each?

At noon, enjoy a one-hour session on the iconic Mount Rushmore National Monument in South Dakota. Learn how the likenesses of four U.S. Presidents were painstakingly carved into the mountainside through the efforts of a single-minded sculptor and his dedicated crew of workers.
