East Quogue PTA, East End Advocates For Public Education to Host Public Forum

East Quogue PTA and East End Advocates for Public Education will be co-hosting a forum, Reclaiming Public Education in New York State, on Monday, March 23.

The forum will take place at the East Quogue Elementary School located 6 Central Avenue in East Quogue on starting at 6 p.m.

The speakers who will attend the event, provided by New York State Allies for Public Education will include:

• Carol Burris, Principal, South Side HS, Rockville Center, 2013 HS Principal of the Year, Co-Author – principal’s letter against APPR
• Beth Dimino, 8th grade science teacher, Comsewogue School District, PJSTA President
• Jeanette Deutermann, Founder and administrator of Long Island Opt Out Info on Facebook, Co-founder of New York State Allies for Public Education
• Terry Kalb, Retired Special Education teacher, Advocate for parents of children with disabilities

This forum is open to all parents, educators, students and concerned community members.
