Hampton Bays Elementary School Hosts Author Night
The event took place on Wednesday, March 11.

Students had the opportunity to meet and have books signed by Long Island authors and illustrators at the annual Author Night, held at the Hampton Bays Elementary School on Wednesday, March 11.
During annual event, students were able to buy new books and visit with 17 authors and illustrators, who set up booths in the school’s gym.
The event was coordinated through Long Island Children’s Writers and Illustrators organization and is part of Parents as Reading Partners program, which aims to have students and their parents read for 20 minutes together each day during the month of March.
