Hampton Bays Second Graders Visit Shinnecock Inlet
The students took a field trip to the inlet to hunt for various sea creatures.

Hampton Bays Elementary School second graders, with clip boards in hand, recently combed the beach at the Shinnecock Inlet.
The students were hunting for various sea creatures as part of an annual field trip earlier last week.
During the trip, which was led by Ranger Eric Powers from Your Connection to Nature of Smithtown, the students learned about the diversity of beach life through a variety of activities, including a seaside beach scavenger hunt.
