What is LibLab ?
LibLab is a place for people to connect, invent and create. LibLab is our experiment with Makerspace programming. And what’s a Makerspace? It’s a learning environment that’s full of possibilities. It’s a place where people of all ages can connect to a future in which they can personally change, modify or “hack” the physical world, creating things that were nearly impossible to do on their own just a few years ago. Making is about getting hands-on, using new technologies and basic tools, to do real and personally meaningful work.

Open to the public, families, teens and adults are welcome. Materials will be safe and appropriate for use by children ages 5-12 with assistance from a parent or caregiver or anyone over the age of 13 working independently. The number of participants per workshop will be limited due to space considerations and alternate activities may be available should we exhaust our supply of materials for a specific project. We will try to accommodate as many makers as we can. Please plan to spend a minimum of 30 minutes with us to complete your project. Want to find out more?
