Mastic Man Found Dead in Pool at Remsenburg Home
The man was found by an associate on Saturday afternoon, police say.

A 28-year-old Mastic man was found dead in a pool at a Remsenburg home on Saturday afternoon, according to Southampton Town Police.
Police received a 911 call requesting assistance for an unconscious man at a home on South Country Road at about 3 p.m., police said.
Responding officers, along with members of the Westhampton Beach Volunteer Ambulance Corps, arrived on scene.

Officers discovered that at 2:45 p.m. the man entered the pool at the home and for reasons still under investigation, lost consciousness, police said.
The man was at the home with three associates painting the home, police said.

One of the associates found the man floating in the pool and pulled him from the water, police said.
The associate was given CPR instructions before the Westhampton Beach Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded and transported the man to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
His identity is being withheld pending the notification of family.
