The week starts with the Sun joining Mercury in the sign of Aquarius.  Aquarius is a fixed air sign, it’s the time of year in our hemisphere when the air is the clearest, if you want to watch the stars and planets this is the time of year when the sky is the most visible to us.  We can have a clarity this time of year that alludes us at other times, maybe it’s the being inside more because of the cold weather.  This is the time of year to look at things in a clear and concise way, but maybe not so much the time of year to take actions. 

Now that does not mean we get an opportunity to just tune out and do nothing, as the other planets are still creating energies we have to deal with.  For the week end the Moon is in Virgo not creating a lot of drama so we have some quiet time, but on Monday the Moon moves into Libra setting of the Cardinal grand square that has been a constant in our lives for the past several months.  By Monday morning the Moon is opposing Uranus and squaring Pluto so once again those of you with degree’s of 8-10 degrees' of the cardinal signs Aires, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are in the line of fire, you may find you life has some emotional upsets, or you just feel anxious and sometimes out of control.  Take deep breaths it will pass quickly by Tuesday the energy is releasing its grip. My advice for everyone during these types of energetic patterns is to stay centered and ignore the crazy energy that can appear around you.

Mid week the planet Venus opposes Jupiter this is not a negative energy its actually a fun energy, but we may feel we want to indulge ourselves so unless its doesn’t bother you avoid over eating, over spending and just plain over doing.  A  positive way to use this energy it to spend time with those who make you feel good.

On Friday Mercury squares the planet Saturn, this is stubborn energy, its that need to be right the need to have your viewpoint seen.  So its best if you can be a little flexible and open.  This is difficult as it hits the fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius the hardest.  Fixed sign are usually as open to change as the other modality’s.  Just do what you can to be open.  On the same day Mercury is also trining the planet Mars this is a great energy that allows you to come up with new and inventive ways of doing things.  So openness to new ideas and new ways to do things rules the day. 

We end the week with a Jupiter Pluto opposition. Another aspect of excess, Jupiter always wants to over do, and Pluto is very obsessive and will do things to an extreme so these planets together can indicate anything from impulsive obsessive behavior  It can create an overconfidence that boarders on arrogance or it can create the energy for healing.  Its all in how you use the energy.  These two planets together are a powerhouse of energy so use it wisely.
