Police Seeking Man Who Used Fake Money at Bridgehampton Game Stop

The man used a fake bill to make a purchase in May, police say.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used fake money at a store in Bridgehampton in May.

A man entered Game Stop on 2044 Montauk Highway and used a counterfeit $100 bill to make a purchase on May 11 at 6 p.m., police said.

The man is described as in his 20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
