Westhampton Beach Students Get 'Mad' About Science

Westhampton Beach Elementary School students had a blast exploring science at an educational assembly earlier this month that brought science out of the textbooks and into the school cafeteria.

During the one-hour, high-energy, interactive program, called Fire & Ice, ‘Mike the Caveman’ a scientist from Mad Science of Long Island, amazed students with science experiments that showed the power of chemical reactions.

The program was made possible through the PTA’s cultural arts and sciences collaborative program.
