OrthoNet Will Keep Its Headquarters in Westchester

The company had considered relocating its headquarters to Connecticut.

OrthoNet Holdings, Inc., an orthopaedic specialty benefit management company, has decided to keep its headquarters in White Plains, allowing the county to maintain 350 jobs it would have lost if the company relocated its operations to Connecticut.

Tax breaks and credits from the state and county convinced the company to keep its headquarters in Westchester. The county’s Industrial Development Agency has approved $31,000 in sales tax exemptions and use tax on the purchase, installation and maintenance of building materials, furniture and equipment. OrthoNet also will get up to $3 million in Excelsior Tax Credits from Empire State Development, a state agency that promotes business investment and growth.

OrthoNet, which is located on 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, also will expand and increase its workforce by 155 employees.
