GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — The vicious mugger who repeatedly punched a 63-year-old woman and knocked her to the ground so he could steal her purse had an accomplice, according to police.

Police released surveillance images Friday night that shows a lookout standing guard as his partner beats the Greenpoint resident inside the vestibule of her Morgan Avenue home on Nov. 28 around 10:30 p.m.

The attacker hit the woman with enough force to fracture her eye socket and jaw, then ran off with her purse with a cellphone and $40 inside it, said police.
