• Yonkers residents help 'Reimagine Central Avenue' during first of 3 public workshops (news12.com) — Yonkers is launching a major "Reimagine Central Avenue" effort to redesign Central Park Avenue into a more walkable, community-friendly corridor, and residents just weighed in at the first public workshop. Locals called for more entertainment, green space and seating, while others worried about congestion and overdevelopment. Additional workshops will run over the next eight to ten months before a 2027 public hearing.
