Come on by to the Jefferson Valley Mall from 3-9 today to drop off your stories & print and write them on the spot!
Have you had your stories for the 1,000 Cancer Stories Campaign ready but haven't had the chance to drop them off? Come by the Jefferson Valley Mall today from 3-9 where you can drop off your stories directly to us! We'll even be setup with a printer so you can email us your picture to RFLofYorktownEvents@gmail.com, we'll print it for you on the spot, you can write your story at the table & hand it directly to us! How perfect is that?
A few things to remember- this campaign is open to anybody & everybody- no matter where you're from who has a cancer story to share. You can share one story, 5 stores, 50 stories or more because there is no limit as to how many you can send in. Stories can be a personal journey if you're a survivor, or your story about being a caregiver or a story about anybody in your life who has battled.
Stories can be as detailed as you'd like- or they can simply be a few lines. We have no minimum or maximum length! You can tell a very specific story, you can write an overview or maybe your favorite thing about the person you're writing about! However you interpret this campaign- is perfect!
So how do you accomplish this?
First, make a list of the people in your life who have battled.
Second, print out your favorite picture of them.
Third, on the back of the picture- write their story!
Fourth, compile all your stories & mail them to us or come to our table!
(1,000 Stories Campaign, PO Box 598, Yorktown NY 10598)
Last, SHARE! Tell everybody who you know who has a cancer story to share- to join the campaign
Thank you to everybody who has mailed their stories in! We're looking forward to continue to receive the stories! Just remember-we can't hit the 1,000 stories goal without all of you joining us & helping us share!
